Akira wins top fashion award

Akira Isogawa has been awarded the inaugural Australian Fashion Laureate.
The laureate recognises those that have contributed to the growth, development and promotion of the Australian fashion industry.
The Japanese-born designer was nominated for the honour alongside Jayson Brunsdon, Collette Dinnigan, Nicholas Huxley and Carla Zampatti.
