PUNKY model Agyness Dean pipped Lily Cole and Pete Doherty’s girl Irina Lazareanu to scoop the Model of the Year gong at the British Fashion Awards.

And unlike last year’s no-show winner Kate Moss, the 20yr-old turned up looking stunning in a sweeping Giles Deacon gown to pick up the fashion award.

The glitzy industry bash is held to celebrate the cream of British talent … and the champers was flowing as the Cool Britannia crowd toasted their fabulousness.

Ruffles, trains and big sleeves were the hot looks of the night.

Lily Allen was cute as pie in a sugary pink prom dress and Erin O’Connor looked every inch the supermodel in a monochrome maxi dress by designers of the night Marchesa.

But there were a few fashion faux-pas: Daisy Lowe should have left the body stocking at home and Sienna’s big sister Savannah looked like she had raided the stables in her leather straps!

And we can’t decide whether Vivienne Westwood is so cool it hurts or just bonkers.
