We couldn’t believe our eyes when we first read the news… how in the world can someone try to get a Bikini Car Wash to shut down alleging that it’s a danger to their children???

The business opened May 5 but was shut down four days later when the San Antonio Water System found an environmental concern on the property and had the city revoke the businesses’ certificate of occupancy.
That was the excuse. Reality goes that the city officials were trying to find a way to shut down the place to appease some 50 residents who went on a rampage against the business.
Well, despite the Taliban’ attempt to break the new toy… voila’! The Bikini Car Wash, located in San Antonio, Texas, on South Flores near Babel, was open for business on Friday…. hoses running, bikini workers washing and a steady stream of dirty cars waiting for a sexy soapy sponge.
“It feels great,” owner Ricardo Arsate told local News 4. “I’ve been working on this for a long time. I’ve been thinking about this since I was a kid. So, hey, it’s good.”
Local Taliban permitting, Arsate plans to open up another Bikini Car Wash soon.
