Miss Teen Alabama, Gabriela Lopez, 17, was crowned Miss Teen International 2008 Saturday at the annual Miss International Pageant in Skokie, Ill. Lopez will spend her year as Miss Teen International promoting her platform Special Olympics. Throughout the three-hour event, 43 Miss Teen contestants competed in four categories, including interview, fun-fashion, fitness wear and evening gown.
