The Tortona neighborhood: one of the most dynamic international hubs of fashion and design over the last 15 years. The design strategy: mixed usage, energy efficiency and a new form of city icon. The Tortona 37 project: a 5 white buildings complex set around a landscaped garden, a “micro-city in the city” covering 25.000 square meters that interprets the area’s multipurpose vocation through low environmental impact architecture. Building use: Multipurpose spaces (lofts, laboratories, offices, showrooms, bars, restaurants, shops etc.). Services provided: Architecture design, Public areas design, and Light design. Total building area: 30.000 m2.
